What you need to know

From Tuesday 27 January 2026 to Friday 20 February 2026, Sabys Road will be closed between the intersection of Halswell Junction Road and Jadewynn Place. There will be no access through this section of Sabys Road while we are working.

There may be short delays during working hours, and your understanding is appreciated.

Temporary traffic management (road cones, signs) will be installed as part of the works.

A 30 km/h speed limit will be in place so we can keep our team and everyone safe.

We’ll need to remove on-street parking to allow space for the works, and to keep everyone safe.

We know this work can be disruptive, and we appreciate your co-operation and understanding.

Information for residents

Access to properties for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained around the worksite where possible.

We’ll help people get around the site. Please advise our team if you have specific requirements e.g. medical visits, large deliveries, home help or any planned works.

There will be increased construction noise and vibration at times, and we’ll do our best to keep this to a minimum.

The work will have no impact on any services such as water, electricity, telecommunications, and gas.

The timing of the work and certain activities will depend on the weather and the roads. We’ll provide updates if there are changes to the planned works.
