We received 11 submissions.
No stopping restrictions
Ten submitters supported the proposal and one did not support.

Changes to the proposal
We considered all feedback and some changes have been recommended, following further input from the project team:
- Not installing the one way system
- Installing two give way signs at the bottom road either side of the end of Rapaki Drive.
We will be recommending to the Banks Peninsula Community Board not to install the one way system in Rapaki. If they agree with this, we will not need to go to Council.
A report will be presented to the Banks Peninsula Community Board for project approval at their meeting on Monday 17 December 2018. The agenda will be available on the Council website from Friday 14 December 2018.
Why are we talking to you about this? 
On busy summer days there is an increase of visitors to the beach in Rāpaki.
The narrow roads in the area are not suited for large numbers of traffic or parked vehicles.
The parking has become more difficult, following the temporary closure of the parking area off Governors Bay Road due to rock fall risk.

- Kina Road
One way only, clockwise from Korora Tahi Road, Kina Road and Rāpaki Drive
Who makes the decisions
No stopping - Banks Peninsula Community Board will make the decision.
One way system - Banks Peninsula Community Board will make a recommendation to Council for the final decision.
