Rainbow Ride 2025

Join fellow bikers as we form a single rainbow ribbon riding through town in celebration of diversity, fitness, sustainability and our bike-friendly city.

Imagine being part of a rainbow ribbon winding through our beautiful city. We're doing just that in celebration of Christchurch Pride.

The 30-minute ride starts within the Mickle Gates at Armagh Street Bridge at 10am on a busy Saturday morning in town. Then after winding around part of Hagley and past Victoria Lake we enter the streets, bringing our proud rainbow ribbon through the CBD. We'll pass many of the City's iconic landmarks, cheered on by those we pass, until arriving in Latimer Square to create the the Progress Pride Flag with us riders!

Our first Rainbow Ride last year was a hit, so let's supersize it this year and cap off Christchurch Pride month with a joyful bounty of colour and style!
