The Cracroft Community Centre will hold an Open Day to showcase the building, engage the community, promote its availability as a venue suitable for both community and commercial events and celebrate reaching this significant milestone.

The local community and those interested in heritage buildings are invited to visit the Old Stone House and enjoy the ambience and history of this 1870's historic building. There will be a range of musical events throughout the day, including from local high schools and the Christchurch School of Music.

View a display of historical information from the building's beginnings in 1870 as the living quarters for John Cracroft Wilson's Indian servants, and find out about its use for the past 40 years as a Council-owned community centre and venue.
