Bygone Buildings and Events in Lyttelton and Lyttelton Harbour

'Local Eyes' exhibitions in Te Ūaka The Lyttelton Museum's cabin and in the Whakaraupō-Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre during the Heritage Festival.

'Local Eyes' is a series of pop-up exhibitions where Lyttelton locals are invited to curate images from the Museum's digitised collection of over 12,000 historic photos and share stories behind them.

Event takes place at two sites:

  • Te Ūaka The Lyttelton Museum, 33/35 London Street, Lyttelton, Saturdays and Sundays during the Heritage Festival, 10am-2pm.
  • Whakaraupō-Lyttelton Harbour Information Centre, 11 to 26 October, 20 Oxford Street, Lyttelton, daily 10am-3pm.
