Antarctic Film Festival

A collection of fun, interesting short movies and documentaries about Antarctica, preceded by a guest speaker.

We're screening a compelling selection of short films direct from the icy frontier of Antarctica.

This one-of-a-kind event features everything from awe-inspiring documentaries that capture the raw beauty and extreme conditions of life on the frozen continent, to quirky, light-hearted comedies born from the Winter International Film Festival of Antarctica’s 48-Hour Challenge – proof that creativity thrives even at the bottom of the world.

To kick things off, Matty Jordan will tell us about some of his summer and winter Antarctic experiences, and some of his social media clips that now have millions of views. After a short break to refuel and reflect, we’ll dim the lights and dive into the films.

Unique. Niche. Surprisingly fun. Come celebrate the spirit of Antarctica – on screen and in stories.
