Linwood Drain Enhancement Project

Local groups and residents are getting together to enhance the Linwood Drain, including beautifying the walking track and improving water quality.

A few local groups and residents are getting together to enhance the look of the Linwood Drain. Not just to beautify this walking track for all to enjoy, but also to improve the water quality for our special eel (tuna) and whitebait found here.

We need your help! Can you spare the occasional Saturday morning? No need to book, just be there.

We will be planting, removing weeds, watering, mulching, removing litter and pruning as required. Plants are kindly donated by 'Trees for Canterbury' native tree nursery. Tools, good company and morning tea are provided. Wear closed footwear and dress for the weather.

Together we can make a difference.
