56 Glenroy Street - Woolston Pump Station upgrade : Christchurch City Council

What	Our contractor is upgrading the Woolston Pump Station and water supply well heads.
Why	The upgrade to the pump station and two water supply well heads (Well 4 and Well 5) will ensure long term water security for the community.
Where	56 Glenroy Street, Woolston Pump Station, Woolston.
When	Early April 2021 to late October 2021. Monday to Saturday, 7am to 7pm (weather/site condition dependent).
Contact	The contractor is Seipp Construction Ltd. Phone Kieran Shine on 03 423 1718, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.

The works will supplement the pump station’s water supply to residents and businesses in the area.
The footpath outside the site will be deviated slightly during construction.
A section of off-street parking within Woolston Village will be fenced off during construction to protect the public from the works.
Access will still be available for the pre-school.
There will be some construction noise typical of well drilling operations, but this will be kept to a minimum and between working hours where practicable.

Noise

There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.

Bins

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
