Details
From Monday 23 March, we'll be adding additional carparks on the Southwest corner of the Hereford Street and Barbadoes Street intersection.
Impacts:
- Footpath closures will be in place near the work site, please follow pedestrian detour routes in place.
- Traffic flow will not be restricted.
Information for road users
- Cyclists will need to merge with traffic through the site.
- We will temporarily remove on-street parking to allow space for the works.
- Please follow all signage and crew directions.
- A 30 km/h speed limit will be in place so we can keep our team and everyone safe.
Information for residents and businesses
- We will help people to get around the site. Please advise our team if you have specific requirements e.g. medical visits, large deliveries, home help or any planned works.
- There will be increased construction noise and vibration at times, and we will do our best to keep this to a minimum.
- Work will have no impact on any services such as electricity, telecommunications and gas.
- The timing of the work and certain activities will depend on the weather and the roads.
We know this work can be disruptive and we appreciate your co-operation and understanding.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
