Details
Traffic management will be in place while work is underway. Please expect cones, construction vehicles, and temporary changes, including:
- Neville Street one-way operation: Neville Street will operate as one-way traffic (from Hinemoa Street to Plunket Street) 24/7 from 23 March to 22 May to safely accommodate construction activities.
- Plunket Street one-way operation: Plunket Street will operate one-way with left-turn exit only onto Neville Street 24/7 from 23 March to 22 May.
- Parking restrictions: On-street parking will be temporarily removed along Neville Street and Plunket Street to allow sufficient space for construction works and traffic movement.
- Temporary traffic signals: Temporary traffic lights will be installed to safely manage vehicle movements through the work area.
- Footpath closures: Some sections of the footpath will be closed during construction. Signage will be in place to guide pedestrians to alternative routes around the site.
- Driveway Access: Access to driveways may be temporarily restricted, particularly when construction works are taking place directly outside your property. We will provide advance notice wherever possible. If you need to enter or exit your property while access is limited, please speak with our onsite contractors and they will assist you to ensure safe access.
Other Information
- Work may be delayed if the weather is bad.
- Some noise is expected; we will minimise this where possible.
- Please follow directions from traffic management staff.
- If you have any specific access needs (medical visits, deliveries) please let our contractors know.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
