Details
Traffic management will be in place while work is underway. Please expect cones, construction vehicles, and temporary changes such as:
- McGregors Road at the intersection with Linwood Avenue will be closed from 13th April to 30th June to allow safe completion of the works.
- There will be temporary lane closures on Linwood Avenue to accommodate construction activities and ensure the safety of both workers and road users.
- On Street parking along sections of Linwood Avenue will be temporarily removed to provide sufficient working space and maintain traffic flow.
- Temporary time-restricted parking will be introduced near Koki Diary to maintain customer access while construction is in progress.
- Pedestrian Access: Pedestrian access will remain available at all times. In some areas, you may require assistance to safely pass through the work zone – please speak to our contractors onsite, and they will be happy to escort you if needed.
- Driveway Access: Access to driveways may be temporarily restricted, particularly when construction works are taking place directly outside your property. We will provide advance notice wherever possible. If you need to enter or exit your property while access is limited, please speak with our onsite contractors and they will assist you to ensure safe access.
Other Information
- Work may be delayed if the weather is bad.
- There may be extra noise, but we will keep it as low as possible.
- Please follow directions from traffic management staff.
- If you have special needs (medical visits, deliveries) please let our contractors know.

Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
