Details
We’re replacing the wastewater pipes on Greenhaven Drive. The work will be completed in two stages, each taking about three weeks.
We’ll start work in the section between Stanford Street and 75 Greenhaven Drive before moving on to the section between 94 and 100 Greenhaven Drive.
We understand that this work is disruptive, and we appreciate your co-operation and understanding.
Traffic impacts
- While we carry out the work, we’ll need to close the section of the road we’re working in. Resident access will be maintained.
- Traffic management will be installed to keep both road users and workers safe.
- Please be aware, reduced speed limits will be in place during construction works.
- The sections of road we’re working in will be closed to through traffic during work.
- On-street parking will be limited during the works.
Access
- We will maintain vehicle access to properties wherever we can, using steel plates when needed. There may be brief periods when access to residences and businesses is affected, but the crew will ensure access is reinstated as soon as possible.
- Please advise if you have any specific property access requirements, e.g. medical visits, large deliveries, home help and any planned works.
- Please put your bins out as usual by 6am on your collection day. The team will move them and return them, if needed.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
