Details
From Monday 2 February 2026, we’ll be completing investigation works along Hay Street between Linwood Avenue and Butterfield Avenue. While we’re working in the area, a one-way system will be in place along Hay Street travelling from Butterfield Avenue to Linwood Avenue.
Temporary traffic management (road cones, signs and barriers) will be installed as a part of the works. Please follow all signage and instructions from staff. There may be some traffic delays.
Please be on the lookout for changes in traffic management and follow the signs. A 30kph speed limit will be in place so we can keep our workers and everyone safe.
This work will create noise; our team will try to minimise noise where possible.
Access to properties will be maintained throughout. Please advise if you have specific requirements e.g. medical visits, large deliveries, home help, and any planned works. Work will have no impact on any services such as electricity, telecommunication, and gas.
Pedestrian access will be maintained around our work site. Our friendly staff will help people get around our site.
We know this work is disruptive, so we appreciate your patience and understanding.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
