Why

The existing pipes have reached the end of their service life and require replacing.

Where

Rahera Street, Forsyth Street and Yale Street, Spreydon.

When

Contact

The contractor is City Care. Phone 0508 248 922, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Please advise us if you have specific property access requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works.

Details

  • A staged road closure will be in effect for each section of the road as it is being worked on, with detours in place to direct traffic around the current work site. When working across Barrington Street, works will be done at night.
  • Parking during the works will be restricted, however pedestrian access will always be maintained on one side at a time.
  • We will endeavour to complete works as efficiently as possible and return the road to normal operating conditions.
  • The work may result in increased dust, noise and vibrations.
  • Water supply to your property will be maintained, with a separate notice being given for the shut off, when connecting to the new pipes.
