Details

From Friday 27 February 2026, we will be completing investigation works along Amyes Road between Springs Road and the railway crossing. While the work is underway, on-street parking will be restricted in specific areas. Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times while the work is in progress.

Access to sections of footpaths will be restricted at times. When these restrictions are in place, a suitable crossing point will be established to enable pedestrians to cross the road.

Temporary traffic management such as road cones, signs, and barriers will be installed as part of the works. Please follow all signage and instructions from staff.

Minor traffic delays may occur. A 30kph speed limit will be in place to  keep road users and work crews safe. Please be on the lookout for changes in traffic management and follow the signs.

These works will create some additional noise. The team on-site will try to minimise noise where possible.

We will avoid working near Te Manu Tukutuku South Hornby School during key pick-up and drop off times.

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained. If you have specific access needs, such as medical appointments, large deliveries, home help, or any planned work, please let us know so we can accommodate them.

We know this work will be disruptive and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
