Details

We will begin work on Langdons Road, between Oakland Street and the western Northlink entrance. Between 6:30am and 5pm, pipelines will be installed on this road and traffic will follow a one-way system. After this section is complete, our team will then progress onto Morrison Avenue. This street will have sections closed off during the day that will reopen at 5pm.

We know this sort of work can be disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Traffic impacts

  • During weekdays, traffic on Langdons Road will be a one-way system, with traffic maintaining flow from Northlink Centre to Greers Road. This will occur from 5 January to 13 February.
  • Morrison Avenue will have a rolling road closure:
    • Sections of Morrison Avenue will be closed during the day, from January to April.
    • Boyne Avenue, Virgil Place, and Honeysuckle Place will also be affected by this road closure.
    •  Our team will notify each property in advance as we progress along the route. Additional letter drops will also be distributed to keep you updated.
    • Please communicate with the team about any critical access requirements that we should be aware of (e.g. health issues that could require immediate attention).

Water shut-offs

Some properties will experience a temporary water shut-off during the night works. If your property is impacted, you will receive a notice about this before the work starts.

Impacts of the works

  • The nature of the works mean they will generate noise, dust and vibrations.
  • We aim to complete most of the work during the day, limiting the amount of night works.
  • The rolling closure of Morrison Ave allows the team to have a safer working environment, and they will be able to complete the works faster with this method.
  • Access to residences and businesses may be briefly impacted. Our crew will make access available as soon as possible. Please advise us if you have any specific property access requirements, such as large deliveries, medical visits, home help and any planned works.
  • Pedestrian detours will be in place, please adhere to signage.

See the below map of the areas that we will be working in.
