Details
We will be renewing the existing water infrastructure along a section of Major Hornbrook Road and the full length of Billys Track. This project is necessary to replace aging assets.
At present, there are multiple mains servicing this section of Major Hornbrook Road. These will be consolidated into a single Polyethylene (PE) water main to improve network resilience.
- Temporary traffic management measures will be in place. These may include road closures, detour routes, speed restrictions, and pedestrian/cycle management. Please follow all posted signage.
- We are committed to minimising disruption and will remove traffic management as soon as it is safe to do so.
- At times, on-street parking and vehicle access to properties may be temporarily restricted. Where required, the contractor will door knock to allow residents to move vehicles.
- Construction activities may result in temporary increases in dust, noise, and vibration. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while these important works are completed.
- Water supply to your property will be maintained. A separate notice will be provided ahead of any temporary shut-off required to connect the new pipes.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
