Details
We are undertaking maintenance work on the stopbank on Owles Terrace due to minor erosion noted in a recent audit. There is no risk to the stability of the stopbank.
These works will include scraping off loose material and replacing with compacted fill, with the finished surface being topsoil and grass.
Traffic Impacts (see site plan overleaf)
- One way only for traffic heading east along Owles Terrace
- Detour in place for traffic heading west along Collingwood Street
Additional Information
- Walking access along the stopbank will be closed for the duration of the work
- Enviromental controls will be in place to prevent surface run-off to the road or river
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
