Details

Work to improve the play space at Cross Reserve is about to get underway.  The work includes:

  •          Temporary fencing of work site.
  •          Site clearance and removal of old play equipment.
  •          Installation of new safety surface.
  •          Renewal of play equipment to ensure a safe play environment.
  •          Installation of new picnic tables
  •          New asphalt path from Nursery Road reserve entrance to play space.

Temporary fencing will be installed around the work site for the duration of the project. Access to the wider park will remain available.

We anticipate there will be an increase in noise and activity during the construction process. We will be making every effort to minimise the impact of this work as much as possible.

We expect to reopen the play space by November 2025.
