Details
Traffic Impacts
- There will be temporary changes to traffic flows with short delays possible.
- There will be cones and construction vehicles while work is carried out. On-street parking will be unavailable.
- Temporary traffic signals will be in place to manage traffic through the work site. Please follow the directions of traffic controllers and signage.
Key Information
- Residue from new surfaces, like asphalt and chipseal, can stick to your shoes or car tyres after the first few days of works being completed. Please be mindful of this when entering your garage or home. Please also be assured that we have been working with contractors to source new products that limit the chances of this occurring, and have already been trialling them across the wider Christchurch area.
- There may be periods of noise and vibration, although we will aim to keep this to a minimum.
- Work will be rescheduled if the weather is bad.
- We know roadworks can be disruptive and were grateful for your co-operation and understanding.
- Surfaces may be uneven at times, but we will aim to minimise this.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
