Details

What are we doing?

We are reconstructing the road surface on Brockworth Place, including the installation of new stormwater pipes, new kerb and channel, new landscaping and street trees, footpath upgrades and a new road surface. We will also be installing new line marking and tactile pavers once the road reconstruction is complete.

Traffic impacts

  • From Monday, 7 July 2025, Brockworth Place - between cul-de-sac and Deans Avenue - will be closed between 8am and 4.30pm each day (Monday to Friday). Due to the scope of works and narrow road width, we cannot maintain vehicle access and complete the work safely.
  • The Brockworth Place/Deans Avenue intersection will be closed 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday. One way access will be provided into Brockworth Place from Deans Avenue from Friday afternoons until Monday mornings.
  • We ask you to please park on a street nearby (see over the page for more information) if you need to use your vehicle during this time.
  • Please note - we will not be able to provide vehicle access at all between 8am and 4.30pm due to the invasive nature of our works, so please remove your vehicle from your property if you need to use your vehicle during our working hours.
  • We will need to remove on-street parking, so we will place no parking signage out before we start work.
  • Emergency vehicle access will be provided if required.
  • Our friendly staff will help people to get around our site and assist with any queries.
  • Please continue to place your bins on the berms outside your property the night prior to collection, we will coordinate collection with Waste Management directly.
  • Please be on the lookout for changes in traffic management and follow signs.
  • The speed limit around our work site is 30kph so we can keep our workers safe.
  • We know this work is disruptive, so we appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks for your cooperation.
