From Sunday 29 June 2025, we will be upgrading the signals at the Barrington Street, Milton Street and Frankleigh Street intersection.
To minimise disruption in the area, we are coordinating with Orion while they install an underground 66kV power cable at this intersection.
Due to the busy nature of the intersection, we will be completing the first two weeks of the signal upgrade by working through the night.
Sunday 29 June to Monday 14 July
The southern side of the Barrington Street, Frankleigh Street, and Milton Street intersection will be closed from Sunday 29 June to Monday 14 July.
Monday 14 July to Monday 28 July
From Monday 14 July, when the partial intersection closure is removed, temporary traffic management will remain in place at the Barrington Street, Milton Street, and Frankleigh Street intersection. Traffic will be able to travel through the intersection from all directions.
