Details 
On Friday 9 May 2025, Wednesday and Thursday 14 to 15 May 2025 we will be working on Halswell Junction Road and Foremans Road. Our works include installing new line markings and coloured surfacing which needs to be completed prior to the new railway crossing opening.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane on both roads noted above and controlled by temporary traffic lights between the hours of 7am to 5pm (approximately). Two-way traffic will be reinstated outside of our working hours.

Please follow the detour signs. Our friendly on-site staff can also assist with any queries. The speed limit around our work site is 30km/h to keep our workers safe. Road users are advised to plan their journey and to expect short delays when travelling in this area. On-street parking close to our work site will be temporarily removed to allow for safe working space.
We know this work is disruptive, so we appreciate your patience and understanding. Thanks for your cooperation.
Information for residents and businesses
For the duration of the project, all on-street parking close to our work site will be temporarily removed to allow for safe working space. Access to properties and businesses for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained on either side of the work site. There will be increased construction noise and vibration at times, but we will do our best to keep this to a minimum. The timing of the work and certain activities will depend on the weather and the condition of the roads. We will provide updates if there are changes to the planned works.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
