Details
- Christchurch City Council has contracted Hunter Civil to undertake construction of a wastewater pump station at 36P Tilford Street.
- During the works, there will be increased noise and vibration from the use of machinery for activities such as soil excavation, dewatering and infrastructure installation.
- On-street parking will be affected around the work site, cones will indicate where parking will not be available.
- Property access will be maintained. Please let us know if you have any specific property access needs e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries or planned works.
- Pedestrian access will be maintained past the site. Please follow the signage and directions of temporary traffic management.
- Please put your rubbish bins out as usual by 6am on your collection day. Our team will move them and return them if needed.
- Thank you for your patience as we upgrade the wastewater pump station in your area.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
