Monday, 10 February 2025 for approximately 4 weeks, 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (weather/site condition dependant).

What are we doing?


We will be:

• Replacing the temporary planter boxes with permanent concrete buildouts with low shrub planting.

• Undertaking some minor stormwater, footpath and kerb and channel works.

• Installing new line marking and tactile pavers.

Traffic impacts

Monday 10 February - Friday 7 March

Norwood Street, at the Fisher Avenue intersection

• Traffic will be reduced to one lane and controlled by temporary traffic lights between the hours of 7am and 5pm (approx.)

• Two-way traffic will be reinstated outside of our working hours.

Fisher Avenue, at the Norwood Street intersection (91 Fisher Avenue - 106 Fisher Avenue)

• There will be a road closure in place with no vehicle access between 8am Monday and 4pm Friday (weekly).

• Please allow extra travel time if you will affected by the closure.

• Access will be reinstated during the weekends.

A 30km/h speed limit will be in place so we can keep our workers and everyone safe.

Please be on the lookout for changes in traffic management and follow the signs.

Information for residents and businesses

• For the duration of the project, all on-street parking close to our work site will be temporarily removed to allow for safe working space.

• Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.  If you may need to be escorted, please speak to staff onsite.

• There will be increased construction noise and vibration at times, but we will do our best to keep this to a minimum.

• The timing of the work and certain activities will depend on the weather and the condition of the roads. We will provide updates if there are changes to the planned works.

• Please advise us via the contact information above if you have any specific property requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries, planned works.

• Work will have no impact on any services such as electricity, telecommunication and gas.

Driveway access

Driveway access to properties will be maintained. However, we may need to work in front of driveways from time to time. We will try and give you plenty of notice for this. However, if you need to get in and out of your property and we are in your way, please just talk to one of the Fulton Hogan staff members and they will make sure you can use your driveway.
