Details

Traffic impacts

The intersections of Smith Street/Ferry Road (7pm - 6am) and Smith Street/Linwood Avenue (10pm - 6am) will be closed nightly for the duration of this work.  Detour routes will be in place, with signage to redirect traffic around the road closures.  Please allow extra travel time if you will be affected by the closures.  Two-way traffic will be reinstated at the end of each shift.  We will need to restrict some on-street parking, so will place no parking cones out before we start work. We will aim to minimise this as much as possible.  Our friendly staff on site can also assist with any queries.  Footpath access around our work site will be maintained.  A 30kh speed limit will be in place so we can keep our workers and everyone safe.  Please keep an eye out for changes in traffic management.

Night works

You will notice light and noise coming from our site while we are sand blasting.  Line marking is less noisy that our other works, however, we know night works are disruptive.  Our team will try to limit this as much as possible.  Noisy works will be completed by 10pm at the latest. We apologise for any disruption caused and thank you for your understanding.
