What |
We'll be working at night to lay cables under the road and to complete investigations to support improvements at the intersection of Ferry Road, Ensors Road and Aldwins Road in the new year. |

Why |
At the start of January 2025, Council will renew the intersection, replace the traffic lights and install safe speed platforms on each approach. Undertaking this preparation work now will help us to minimise disruption when we complete the full works next year. |

From Sunday 24 November 2024, we'll be making safety upgrades at the Ferry Road, Ensors Road and Aldwins Road intersection.
To complete this work overnight, we'll be installing a temporary stop/go system at the intersection. Please see below for more information about traffic impacts.
This first phase of work will be completed during night works over a period of approximately three weeks.
At the start of January, Council will renew the intersection as the foundations are failing, replace the traffic lights
because they have reached the end of their service life and install safe speed platforms on each approach. We will
provide more information about this next phase of work in January.
We know this work can be disruptive, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
