Details
As from 30 September the following work will be undertaken on Rhona Street.
We will be installing:
- Two Speed humps.
- New gardens and landscaping.
- Undertaking some minor stormwater works.
- Footpath works.
- A pedestrian island with speed humps at the intersection of Rhona Street and Buckleys Road.
Potential impacts on traffic:
- There will be a number of traffic management layouts implemented while the work is completed. These will be a variation of temporary road closures, shoulder closures, lane drops and temporary on-street parking removal.
- Please check your letter box regularly for updates.
- Please allow time for delays and plan your trip accordingly.
- Please follow the directions provided by the onsite traffic management team at all times.
Potential impacts of work:
- Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. If you need to be escorted, please speak to staff onsite.
- Increased construction noise and disturbance may be encountered, but the contractor will try to keep this to a minimum.
- There may be times when vehicle access to your property is restricted. This will be temporary and we will communicate beforehand so you can move your vehicles if necessary.
- Please advise us via the contact information above if you have any specific property requirements e.g. medical visits, home help, large vehicle deliveries or planned works.
- The timing of the work is dependent on weather and road conditions so we will provide regular updates during construction.
- Work will have no impact on any services such as electricity, telecommunication and gas.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
