Work details
The rock revetment works will involve supply and placement of large rock along the foreshore along the existing sea wall.
The rock will be sourced locally within Banks Peninsula.
Upon completion, the work area will be top-soiled and grassed where required.
Impact of work:
The work will be noisy while we complete the rock placement works.
Some on-street parking and berm area will be restricted on Okains River Road for safety reasons.
There will be an increased number of trucks moving through Okains Bay and Summit Road.
Public access to this area will be temporarily restricted while the work is being undertaken.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
