Details
- The existing timber-lined drain on the northern boundary of McSaveneys Road has deteriorated and is scheduled for renewal.
- The works will include full replacement of timber piles, lining and backfill material behind the new lining.
- Due to the proximity to the works and the impact on the drain, some trees will need to be removed; note the decision to remove these trees is only made where there is a negative impact on either the tree, the drain, or the carriageway. Where appropriate, replacement trees will be planted in a suitable location to ensure maximum life expectancy and minimal impact on the infrastructure over time.
- Site constraints will require the contractors to install traffic management to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. However, we will ensure that this does not cause significant impacts to your day-to-day activities. Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
