What |
We are upgrading the railway level crossings, including installation of signal poles, at both Sturrocks Road and Tuckers Road. This is part of the construction of the Northern Line Cycleway, which we are extending along the railway corridor through this area. |

Why |
The upgrades are being done to ensure safer approaches across the railway for pedestrians and vehicles travelling along Sturrocks Road and Tuckers Road. The upgrade will also include the development of safe and easy access onto the new section of the Northern Line Cycleway, where it will intersect with the crossing. |

What are we doing?
Where are we working?
Traffic Impacts
Road Closures - while the roads are closed on either side of Sturrocks Road and Tuckers Road railway crossings, detour routes will be in place, with signage to redirect traffic around the closures.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
