Details
- Our contractor, Seipp Construction, will be installing a new manhole to accommodate future lining works to renew sections of the brick barrel drain running beneath Ferry Road.
- The manhole works are necessary to provide access to install the new lining. Lining works are due to take place in March 2024.
- While manhole works are underway, traffic management will be in place. This will include vehicle restrictions in and out of Osborne St. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained on Ferry Road with speed restrictions and cyclists merging. Property access will be maintained for most properties. However directly outside the works will be affected with restricted vehicle access.
- Safety is our number one priority – and it’s your responsibility, too. Stay clear and stay alert. Please keep children and pets at a safe distance from the worksite.
- We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
