Why |
We are replacing this damaged section of open concrete channel alignment and upgrading to a new PVC pipe buried below the surface. These works are taking place as part of the 3 waters renewal program and work here will increase the life of this stormwater asset. |

Details
- There will be multiple contractor staff and equipment movements entering and exiting private properties during this time, to gain access to Papanui Creek for the undertaking of the works.
- Temporary traffic management will be operating in Tulloch Place during the works.
- This section of drain will remain functional during the works, to help maintain stormwater flows.
- Site access to the drain will be via properties off Tulloch Place.
- There may be increased noise and dust during the construction phase of the project.
- Contractor staff will be on site to assist local residents during the works.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
