What |
We’re planning to start work on building a new retaining wall to replace the aging and damaged one that supports the road below the Bridle Path. |
---|---|
Why |
The current retaining wall has reached the end of its useful lifespan and needs to be replaced. Christchurch City Council typically replaces any retaining wall that has reached the end of its design lifespan. This is to ensure they are safe and work effectively. |
Where |

When |
From 25 September 2023 to late March 2024. Monday to Saturday, 7.30am to 5.30pm (weather/site condition dependent). |
Contact |
The contractor is Hunter Civil Ltd. Please phone site manager on (03) 381 7094, Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 5.30pm. |
