Details
We are currently completing works for the Eastern Terrace Water Supply Trunk Main Renewal project in the road at Tennyson Street. To complete this work, we will need to temporarily close a section of it. The details of road closure as follows, see staging images on the reverse page:
Stage One
- Southampton Street will be closed between #166 Southampton Street and Tennyson Street
- Tennyson Street will be closed between Norwood Street and #130 Tennyson Street
Stage Two
- Norwood Street will be closed between #79 Norwood Street and Tennyson Street
- Tennyson Street will be closed between Southampton Street and #85 Tennyson Street
We understand there will be large disruptions to traffic during peak times and would advise allowing more time for commutes and planning.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.
Safety
Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
