Christchurch Waste Treatment Plant - security fencing : Christchurch City Council

What	We are constructing security fencing around the waste treatment plant oxidation ponds.
Why	To provide improved oxidation pond security and access points for authorised personnel.
Where	Around the perimeter of the Bromley treatment plant oxidation ponds.
When	9 January 2023 to late May 2023. Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm (weather/site condition dependent).

Construction of over 8kms of 1.8-metre-high netting fencing around the treatment ponds perimeter
Security gating installed for operational entry/egress
There will be no traffic management required as all works will be undertaken within the treatment plant boundary
The works undertaken will abide by the Department of Conservation permit for lizard management and follow breeding bird management requirements.

Noise

There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.

Bins

Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
