We are doing some maintenance to the gravel access driveway through the reserve, starting at the main entrance off Sawyers Arms Road and continuing the length of the gravel road into the reserve. |

Why |
These works are taking place following the winter season which has damaged the driveway. Edge swales will be added to improve surface water runoff with the importing of gravels to re-grade the driveway, creating a smooth running surface for vehicle access into the reserve. |

Details
- The driveway and vehicle access into the reserve will be closed to the public during the construction activities.
- There will be no alternative public vehicle access into the reserve during stages of the works.
- The public will be advised to use roadside parking surrounding the reserve throughout the duration of works (see detailed map below). Suggested roadside areas are Greywacke Road, Lakes Way and Outlook Place.
- Access into the reserve will be for foot traffic only, set up to help safely avoid construction related activities during this time.
- The project will be staged in two sections to help lessen public impact during the works.
- There will be spotters on site to safely assist pedestrians around the construction zone should members of the public need assistance during the hours of work.
- There will be heavy machinery operating on this site with construction plant and vehicle movements taking place during the day.
- There will be a moderate increase in noise and activity in this area during this construction process.
- Construction vehicles will be accessing the site from the main Sawyers Arms Road entrance.
Noise
There may be increased noise, dust and vibrations during work but it shouldn’t impact on your power, water, gas or phone services.

Safety is our biggest priority so please keep children and pets away from worksites.
Bins
Please put your bins out as usual before 6am on your collection day. Our crew will move and return them if needed.
