We're resurfacing a section of Governors Bay Road because it has reached the end of its life.
Our contractor Fulton Hogan has removed and resurfaced a section of existing road surface on Governors Bay Road (see image below). While the majority of this construction is completed, some final work will take place in the week of Monday 3 February to Friday 7 February 2025.
While work is underway site access will be controlled with temporary traffic lights. The speed limit in the work area will be 30kph. Pedestrian access will be maintained around the work site.
Fulton Hogan will be on-site and can assist with any queries. Please follow any signs or traffic management measures that they have in place.
Emergency services access will be possible if required.
