Elected members' expenses, allowances and professional development expenditure.

The Council’s Elected Member Expenses and Allowances Policy and Elected Member Professional Development Policy outline elected member entitlements to allowances and contributions towards expenses for travel mileage, communications, childcare and professional development.

To comply with the reporting requirements of the policies, expenditure pursuant to the polices, claims and allowances paid are required to be published on the Council website and reported to the Audit and Risk Management committee at least every six months.
