Nick ADAMS

Independent

My principal place of residence is in the Harewood Ward of the Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board area.

I'm running for Community Board in Harewood because I want to contribute to our community and ensure all our voices are heard.
I'm a dedicated public servant with over 17 years’ experience across governance, policy, strategy, and community engagement roles. I hold two Master’s degrees in policy and strategy, and I'm keen to bring my skills and knowledge to work for Harewood.
I want Council to make positive, fair, and balanced decisions that reflect what matters most to the community. I believe in common-sense, practical solutions and in building on what already makes Harewood a great place to live.
My priorities are for Council to provide and maintain high-quality public services, protect and enhance open spaces where our community can thrive, and lead on climate preparedness as new housing and infrastructure expand our suburb.
I’d be honoured to represent you and help shape a positive, sustainable future for Harewood.

Lucy KEOWN

Independent Citizens

My principal place of residence is in the Harewood Ward of the Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board area.

I’m proud to be running for the Harewood Ward of the Community Board, a place I’ve grown up in and care deeply about. I believe that strong local decision making starts with listening to the people who actually live here. Our community deserves representatives who understand our needs and act on them.
My priorities include improving safety with shared paths at Gardiners and Radcliffe Roads, fixing the bus lanes on Main North Road, and stopping over-engineered cycleways that don’t reflect what locals actually want. These issues matter because they affect our daily lives.
I want to be a voice for my generation while honouring the generations that have built Harewood into the great community it is today. I’m always open to hearing your concerns and ideas. Please reach out anytime at lucykeownforharewood@gmail.com
Vote Lucy Keown for the Harewood Ward. Local voice, local decisions.

Jason MIDDLEMISS

Independent Citizens

My principal place of residence is in the Harewood Ward of the Waimāero Fendalton-Waimairi-Harewood Community Board area.

It’s been a privilege representing our community on your behalf over the past two terms. As the current Community Board Chair, I’ve worked hard to ensure local needs are heard and acted on.
My focus remains on getting the basics right: well-maintained roads and footpaths, quality parks and public spaces, and ensuring growth in areas like Belfast, Styx Mill and Highsted is managed in a way that protects the character and liveability of our neighbourhoods. I haven’t been afraid to push back on proposals that don’t reflect the views of our community, such as the Harewood Road cycleway.
As a CFO and Chartered Accountant, I bring strong financial oversight and practical thinking to every decision. As a husband and father of two young children growing up here, I care deeply about the future we’re building together.
I’m always available and ready to listen. Contact me anytime at jason@jasonmiddlemiss.co.nz or 0277770108.
