We are upgrading the play equipment, the learn-to-ride track and the toilet building, to get Westburn Park in shape for future generations to enjoy.

We want to hear what you think of the draft plan. Are there any opportunities we've missed? Is there something you really like?

This renewal will include:

  • Four new pieces of play equipment
    • Orex climbing carousel
    • 1.8m double wave slide
    • Swing set (two standard swings, a toddler seat swing and a 'you and me' swing)
    • Trick Skate
  • New bike/scooter stands
  • Renewing the learn to ride bike/scooter track to make it more user friendly and to provide a safe environment to learn key road safety and bike skills
  • Five new picnic tables
  • Replacement of the current building with a single, unisex, accessible toilet. This is proposed to be built in the same location as the existing building.

No trees will need to be removed as part of these works.
