We have been requested to provide additional information on the options available for this project and to clarify that there are two options to consider. Option one is the replacement of the footbridge and option two is the realignment of the walkway, removal of the bridge with a rockery in its place. The rockery is not expected to have any impact on the flow of the stream as this stream as there are other rocks in the waterway up stream of this location. A cost / benefit breakdown of these two options is in the consultation leaflet [PDF, 286 KB].
We have extended the consultation closure date from Wednesday 17 May 2017 to 5pm, Friday 9 June 2017.
