The earthquake-damaged stadium is due to be deconstructed and we’re inviting you to share photographs or illustrations that capture your memories of the place as we say a final goodbye.
Whether it’s watching a cricket match from the embankment, cheering on the Crusaders or enjoying a live concert, send in your images for a chance to have them featured on signage around the site ahead of, and during, the deconstruction.
What you need to know:
- Images should be at least the size of a postcard (approximately A6 size) and be at least 300dpi or 5mb.
- Electronic files (including scans) preferred are Jpegs, PDFs or Tifs.
- Landscape format is preferable.
- Images should be original and not infringe on copyright.
- A selection of images received will be displayed on signage that will surround the Lancaster Park site before, and during, deconstruction of the stadium.
- Your images may also be used by the Council and/or Vbase on social media. Please specify if you are happy for us to include your details (name, suburb etc) on the signage and/or in social media.
- All entries must be received by Friday 22 December. It is expected the signage will be erected by mid-February 2018.

Please note: By sending in your images, you agree to allow Christchurch City Council and Vbase to use them if, and as, they see fit. It will not be possible to use all images we receive.
