The Banks Peninsula transfer stations and collection points let you dispose of green waste, rubbish and recycling.

Barrys Bay Transfer Stations are closed Wednesday 25 December, Thursday 26 December and Wednesday 1 January. All other days are open as normal. 

Birdlings Flat Transfer Station is open as per normal - Saturdays 9am-12pm.

  • Winter hours outside of daylight savings: Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, midday to 4pm.
  • Closed on Good Friday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Recycling collection points

Residents who do not have a kerbside recycling bin service can access the recycling collection points to dispose of their household recycling items.
