Open Air

Enjoy the arts outdoors soaking in the summer vibes. Open Air is a relaxed programme of events with wide appeal, running until early February.

Open Air kicks off in October with A Heritage of Big Bands then jazz every Sunday afternoon in November.

Christmas performances include Toi Toi Opera and the Woolston Brass Bands.

As we enter the lazy days of summer pull up a beanbag for outdoor movies, opera and storytelling for kids.

In February, there’s a Garden City Mākete and a one-day festival of music from the Islamic World.
