Wooded Gully – Mt Thomas upgraded family track opening
Please note: The Kiwi Guardian site opening previously advertised has been postponed until the October School Holidays, but there will still be a treasure hunt and prizes along the new upgraded track.
Visit the Wooded Gully picnic and camping site anytime between 11am and 3pm and enjoy a family walk at your leisure with a treasure hunt for children.
Meet at Mt Thomas Forest, Wooded Gully, at the end of Hayland Road (4km from the turnoff at Birch Hill Road, Okuku).
Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash.
The walk is approximately 2.5km.
This walk is organised by the Department of Conservation.
