Whānau Movie – Whale Rider
Join Christchurch City Libraries in celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and come along to Tūranga to watch the whānau movie, Whale Rider.
Based on the 1987 novel The Whale Rider by Witi Ihimaera, the movie follows the story of Paikea Apirana and her Koro (grandfather) to a place where traditional and modern thinking meet.
