Headwater Springs

An amble through Te Kuru wetlands to view the springs that form part of the headwaters of the Ōpāwaho Heathcote River.

Grade: Intermediate. An easy flat walk on formed paths suitable for prams. 

Starting and finishing at the Te Kuru car park on Cashmere Road, take a walk on the site of an old swamp re-imagined enhancing biodiversity, improving water quality, reducing flooding and improving amenity values.
