Tūhura Tuarangi – Aotearoa in Space

A space science showcase that is out of this world. Packed with hands-on activities, VR experiences, amazing space technologies, and space-related careers.

You will get to build a satellite, launch a rocket and see how you can create energy out of water.

The whole whānau can get up close with ion thrusters, a four billion-year-old meteor, and part of a Russian spacecraft.

There are also virtual reality experiences where you can take your first giant leaps into space and explore the entire solar system.

Bought to Tūranga by the Tūhura Otago Museum Team.
