The Clarks of Thorrington - 160 Years in Trees

A walk from South Library through the Ernle Clark Reserve led by David Clark, to reminisce about the Thorrington Estate where he grew up.

David will talk about the significance of the trees to the family over three generations.

From his grandfather planting the oaks and ash trees from "home", his uncle's planting of trees along a "native walk", to David's involvement with the friends of Ernle Clark and their vision for an indigenous canopy in 200 years time.

The walk will begin with an introductory talk at the South Library boardroom, followed by a guided walk through the reserve.

Meet at the South Library entrance to the boardroom.
